| GEOFF KOCH - The Creator of TippyToeToons |
Geoff’s varied career as a singer, songwriter, writer, and actor seems to have been designed to prepare him to create TippyToeToons. Geoff graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in business and quickly found a way to combine his business training with his music and entertainment interests. Geoff partnered with a fellow USC grad and, with the backing of one of his USC professors, formed Musicom Productions. The company produced advertising jingles for businesses across the U.S. and Canada. At the same time, Geoff began working as a freelance singer in film and television. Within a couple of years, he was asked to produce music for those shows and he struck out on his own. Geoff produced music and sang on Hill Street Blues, The A-team, Riptide, Hardcastle & McCormick, Hunter, Sting Ray, Quantum Leap, Walker: Texas Ranger, and The Disney Sunday Night Movie among others. He was under contract to Walt Disney Pictures, Stephen J. Cannell Productions, and New World Television. Geoff began writing songs for Walker: Texas Ranger (45 episodes), Honey I Shrunk the Kids (the TV show) and various TV movies. To date he has worked on more than 200 episodes of television. His freelance singing work includes many family films and he can be heard on Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas, The Legend of Mulan, The Santa Claus, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, The Tigger Movie and over 30 other films. Geoff has worked with such entertainment luminaries as Mel Brooks, Billy Crystal, Randy Newman, David Foster, Alan Menken, James Horner, John Landis, Jerry Herman and Steven Bochco. He’s sung on albums for recording artists ranging from Barbra Streisand to Don Henley. |
| Trained in acting at the famed Second City Comedy Improv Workshops in Los Angeles, Geoff’s acting credits include: Ally McBeal, Frasier, Arli$$, Walker: Texas Ranger, Angel, Diagnosis Murder, Magnificent Seven, General Hospital, Days of Our Lives, Columbo.... Geoff has written screenplays and wrote, produced and starred in the award winning short comedy film Prison Life, where an Amway-like multi-level marketing fever replaces criminal activity within a prison. |
| Married to country recording artist Kellie Coffey, Geoff has split time between Los Angeles and Nashville for the last 4 years. He decided the time was right in 2005 to return to his entrepreneurial roots and create a project he could champion that brought all his talents and abilities together. TippyToeToons was born out of a desire to create intelligent, fun, family entertainment. |
